When you book online you will receive an email and SMS message saying awaiting confirmaton. Once your details have been viewed by admin for your booking, you will receive an email and sms to confirm your booking. You will also receive confirmation of your driver and vehicle detail before your booking date. Please check your spam email also.
Yes you can book a taxi over the phone. We can enter your details into our booking system manually. You will still receive all journey details via sms messaging and can track your taxi on the map by using the link attached.
There are a number of ways to pay either by ( Debit Card, Credit Card or Payment link) We may require a booking fee when the hire has been confirmed. This will be paid direct to Barrhead Taxis or to the allocated driver.
Our payment request link will be sent to your email address or mobile phone number.
We may require a larger booking fee for journeys that the driver has to travel a longer distance to pickup.
This fee will come off the final bill on the day when the hire is completed.
The Balance can be paid in cash or card at end of the journey, only if Barrhead Taxis agrees to this in advance.
For distance hires payment in full may be requested in advance, payable direct to Barrhead Taxis via a payment request by email or sms link. [ Failure to pay in advance] may result in your taxi journey being cancelled.
Yes you can change you booking details by using your online account login or emailing the changes to barrheadtaxis@gmail.com . You can also call.
You can cancel Your taxi at any time but we may keep your booking fee if the driver is already on the way to pick you up and nearly at the pickup location. We will refund you in full if the hire has been cancelled at least 24 hours in advance or driver hasn't been dispatched as booking not near dispatch time yet.
You can locate your taxi driver on the supplied phone number that was provided to you when your taxi was booked and a driver has been allowcated. You will be provided pickup instructions with your booking. We also use (what3words) You can download the app and share location with your driver and vice versa. We use what3words for airport and event pickups.

Pickup at Glasgow airport and Prestwick airport is in carpark opposite the taxi rank.
We won't charge you any extra for being late from airports as we will monitor your flight arrival time. Please add flight details to booking form. We allow 45 minuets waiting time after landing.
Please inform us at the earlest possible stage if you know your flight is delyed for any reason.
We cover most of the Glasgow area from Glasgow Airport / Edinburgh Airport / Prestwick Airport to popular Cities and destinations throughout Scotland.

Please be sure to pick an appropriate taxi size for the number of passengers and luggage you intend to travel in. Be in comfort and not cramped in.
The largest taxis we have are up to 8 seat and the smaller ones are 4 seat with ample room for one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage each per passenger.

Depending on suitcase the 8 seater taxis can take up to eight small cases and 8 golf sets. We can also offer an enclosed trailer for more luggage if required, please ask at time of booking.
